Charcoal machine is a mechanical equipment used for making charcoal. Its working principle and process are as follows:

Working principle

The working principle of charcoal machine is mainly based on high-temperature dry distillation or carbonization treatment. Transforming raw materials containing biomass fibers (such as tree branches, straw, rice straw, peanut shells, tree trunks, cotton straw, tea seed shells, fruit shells, weeds, leaves, etc.) into charcoal through a series of physical and chemical changes.

  • Raw material preparation: Firstly, the raw materials are pre treated, such as cutting or crushing, to ensure that they meet the processing requirements of the charcoal machine. The raw materials are usually crushed into particles or powders within 10mm.
  • Drying: The crushed raw materials are sent to a dryer for drying treatment to reduce their moisture content to within 12%. This step is crucial for the subsequent rod making and carbonization processes.
  • Stick making: The dried raw materials are subjected to high-pressure molding treatment by a stick making machine to form charcoal sticks with a certain degree of density and strength. No additives are added in this step.
  • Carbonization: Send the formed charcoal rod into a Carbonization furnace for carbonization treatment. In a high-temperature and oxygen deficient environment, organic matter in wood undergoes thermal decomposition, producing charcoal, biomass gas, and exhaust gas. Charcoal is rapidly cooled by a cooling system and eventually becomes solid charcoal.

  • The main equipment of a charcoal machine includes a pulverizer, a dryer, a rod making machine, and a Carbonization furnace. These devices are connected in sequence according to the production process, jointly completing the charcoal production process.
